Membership is open to players with at least an intermediate playing ability.
Prospective members are auditioned informally by playing with the ensemble for 2-3 rehearsals. The music director will then determine suitability and seating.
Membership fees are $45 per season and cover the cost of music and facility rental. NVCC provides us with auditorium space and our conductor. Members bring their own stands. Folders are provided.
College credit can be earned through the music department of Naugatuck Valley Community College, 2 credits per semester. Senior citizens are exempt from fees.
